About
The Monday Morning Painters
The
Monday Morning Painters is a group of plein air painters
that was started many years ago by Patrick Fanning, a local
Sonoma County landscape artist. The group paints mostly
throughout Sonoma County, but has been known to venture
into adjoining counties on occasion. Many of the artists
who paint with the group today have been doing so since
its inception.
There
is nothing you need to do to join in the painting outings,
except show up and paint, and to please be polite, as we
are often on private property and need to respect all requests
of the owners.
Join us every Monday from 9AM-1PM in the warm months and
12PM-4PM during the cold months. All media welcome. Critique
is held at the last half hour of the outing. View
